Farm/Station Background:

Located in Ngariama, Gichugu Constituency of Kirinyaga County, the
famed Karimikui washing station is part of the Rung'eto Farmers'
Cooperative Society (FCS), alongside Kiangoi and Kii. Founded in
1953, the cooperative now comprises around 3,600 smallholders, each
managing roughly one hectare of land.
